I believe that vertical farming is the future. On fifth of all fossil fuels used in the United States is used in some way for agriculture, from the actual growing to the shipping to the processing. The idea behind the Vertical Farm project is to eventually eliminate the need for using fossil fuels in the production of the food we eat.
